The Client’s Vision

Our client in Gislingham was looking to create their dream kitchen, a space that was tailored to their exact needs for cooking and family life. They wanted a design that maximised storage and functionality, with a seamless, high-end look. Crucially, they had a specific dark green colour in mind, and required the new cabinetry to be a perfect match to an existing feature in their home.

Our Handcrafted Joinery Solution

The Perkins & Co team designed, built, and fitted this complete kitchen from start to finish. The layout was planned to be highly efficient, featuring full-height wall cabinets that draw the eye upwards and make the most of the available space.

We ensured a sleek and uncluttered finish by seamlessly integrating all the client’s appliances. The design also incorporates smart solutions for modern living, including a concealed pull-out bin and integrated under-cabinet LED lighting, which provides perfect illumination for food preparation.

Premium Materials and Finishing Touches

For a beautiful and durable interior, the kitchen carcasses were all constructed from Finsa ‘Lissa Oak’, a premium material with a lovely, consistent grain. The doors and end panels became the kitchen’s standout feature. We created a custom dark green paint, precisely colour-matched to the client’s sample. Every door and panel was then professionally spray-finished to achieve a flawless, velvety surface. This bespoke colour matching makes the kitchen truly unique to our client’s home.
