The Client’s Vision

Our client in Ipswich wanted to make practical use of a small, empty alcove in their bedroom. The aim was to create discreet, purpose-built storage that would blend seamlessly into the room, turning an otherwise wasted space into a valuable feature without encroaching on the floor area.

Our Handcrafted Joinery Solution

We designed, built, and fitted a compact yet spacious cabinet that perfectly fills the alcove. The unit provides significant storage capacity and features fully adjustable shelving, giving the client the flexibility to organise the space exactly as they need.

Understanding the demands of a modern bedroom, we also integrated electrical sockets neatly into the back of the unit. This provides a convenient and tidy spot for a bedside lamp, alarm clock, or for charging phones and other devices, combining classic joinery with essential modern functionality.

Crafted from high-quality materials, this cabinet is built to last. The unit was professionally spray-finished in ‘Slipper Satin’ by Farrow & Ball, a beautiful and timeless off-white. This popular chalky neutral ensures the cabinet feels light and airy, complementing the bedroom’s décor while enhancing the sense of space. The flawless spray finish provides a durable and elegant surface.
